The catalogue has today been released for the Greyhound Trader Towcester Pre-Derby Sales and all eyes are looking ahead to Monday’s trial session with plenty of fast times expected on the day.
“The quality of this year’s Pre-Derby Sale at Towcester is exceptional” says James Corden.
“We have our very first sub 28.00 greyhound entered into the sales in the shape of Dutchie (27.98 at Shelbourne Park) and the likes of Radical Scoby (Runner-up in the Irish Cesarewitch), Toolmaker Quick (recent semi-finalist in the Northen Puppy Derby at Newcastle), Swords Hero (3rd in the Shelbourne Champions 550) plus many more 28.40-28.50 greyhounds.
“Our Pre-Derby Sale has been very successful over the years with the likes of Savana Beau, Antigua Lava, Ballymac John, Antigua Sugar and Savana Jazz graduating from previous sales. There also looks to be a few very nice unraced types in there and if the jungle drums are correct then we could see some of them post nice clocks on the day”.
The trials will commence at 10:30am on the day and for anyone not able to attend in person please visit https://greyhoundtrader.com/track-sales/ and you can click on links for both the live trials and the live auction.
