GREYHOUND TRADER return for the start of their October double-header this weekend, with an online auction running from Friday, October 9 to Sunday, October 11, before the team head north for their Sunderland Track Sale on October 22.
With vendors having closely monitored the success of Greyhound Trader’s online auctions throughout the year, it is clear that the format has made a strong impression. That has, thankfully for potential buyers, resulted in an outstanding selection being assembled for what promises to be the most impressive online auction yet.
Among the initial standouts is EPIC EVIE, entered by the Kennedy family. An April 2025-born bitch, she attracted plenty of praise on X after qualifying unraced at Thurles in a smart 28.82 (-40), and is already being regarded as one of Ireland’s hottest young prospects.
STONEPARK BROWNE brings a particularly strong CV to the sale, having previously won the Treaty Cup and currently holding the Limerick track record following his sensational 18.12 performance. FLEETING MOMENT, from the same age category, is another exciting prospect and boasts a 28.05 victory at Shelbourne Park.
Also from the same kennel is INDIAN MIST, winner of this year’s Tipperary Cup at Thurles. That same venue was also the stage for the prestigious Kasko unraced stake, which was won by ZACONEY MONTANA, who will now be available to the public through the auction.
The March 2025-born LUNA DASH could also attract significant attention, with the youngster heading into an ON3 final at Tralee on Saturday as the warm favourite after winning her semi-final in 28.51 last week. Another youngster currently making her mark in an unraced competition is April 2025 whelp RAZLDAZL CUDDLES, who caught the eye with an impressive 28.60 debut success at Shelbourne Park on Tuesday.
With this level of quality among a catalogue that also features several exciting prospects as young as 14 months old, there is every reason to believe this could be Greyhound Trader’s strongest online auction to date.

LOT 7 — EPIC EVIE
April 2025 | Good News x Good Woman
An outstanding prospect who qualified unraced at Thurles on Saturday night in a scintillating 28.82 (-40). Her sister Luna Dash made £10,700 at Hove, adding further appeal to her pedigree. One for those looking to compete at the highest level.
LOT 8 — FLEETING MOMENT

LOT 13 — MALLOGS HARDY
November 2024 | King Sheeran x Mallogs Dolly

October 2024 | Dromana Bucko x Swanley Chick
A daughter of Dromana Bucko who scored a smart 28.64 at Limerick just two weeks ago. Out of the dam of the previous Dundalk track record holder, Maybe clearly has plenty of ability herself and lines up in the prestigious Kennedy Cup final at Limerick on Saturday night.

June 2025 | Ballymac Cashout x Newinn Cuckoo
A daughter of Ballymac Cashout who has no official mark to her name but has recorded an unofficial 29.14 at Clonmel, as demonstrated by the video attached to her profile. A talented half-sister to recent Irish Derby winner Bockos Gold, Pickles is an exciting young prospect with plenty of potential.
LOT 16 — ORCHID BELLE
October 2024 | Dorotas Wildcat x Cicero
A daughter of Dorotas Wildcat who has a race-winning 28.66 (+20) at Tralee to her name, as well as an eye-catching 32.81 victory over 600y at Limerick. Her ability over different distances highlights her versatility, while a smart 18.78 sprint trial at Limerick provides further evidence of her natural pace.
LOT 17 — RAZLDAZL CUDDLES
April 2025 | Ballymac Best x Razldazl Mya
A daughter of Ballymac Best who looks set to be one of the most sought-after lots in this weekend’s online auction following an impressive 28.60 debut victory at Shelbourne Park on Tuesday night. LOT 21 — STONEPARK BROWNE
April 2023 | Malachi x Coolavanny Ella
Regarded as one of Ireland’s leading sprinters over the past two years, Browne is a winner of the Treaty Cup at Limerick and etched his name into the history books when smashing the track record in the opening round with a scarcely believable 18.12. Other high-class form includes 18.32 at Shelbourne Park, 17.46 at Tralee and 20.94 at Dundalk. With 13 wins, all in SS0 company, he is an established top-class sprinter and would likely be prominent in the betting for the National Sprint at Nottingham in December.

August 2025 | Signet Ace x Tromora Merkle
A daughter of Signet Ace whose only mark to date is an impressive 29.83 (-20) at Galway, where she won her trial by 12 lengths. LOT 23 — TROMORA ELSA
August 2025 | Dorotas Wildcat x Coolavanny Palm
A daughter of Dorotas Wildcat who has yet to show her true potential, having been caught in messy official trials to date and recording a best of 30.51 at Limerick. In season in late August, this 14-month-old has had an interrupted schooling campaign but should have plenty of scope to improve and looks capable of developing into a useful grader.
LOT 24 — TROMORA MOUSE
August 2025 | Signet Ace x Tromora Merkle
A litter-sister to Cherish above, Mouse made her first official appearance at Limerick on Wednesday and ran out a convincing winner in 29.68. LOT 25 — ZACONEY MONTANA
October 2024 | Ballymac Cashout x Windy Love
Winner of the prestigious Kasko unraced stake at Thurles last Saturday evening, Montana showed real determination to overcome early crowding at the first bend and get himself into winning contention. His calculated times have been consistently strong at the tough-running Tipperary circuit, with efforts of 28.75, 28.74 and 29.03 to his name. Another high-class entrant to bring this weekend’s online auction preview to a close.
RESERVES
LOT A — SLIPPY FRANCIS
August 2024 | Signet Ace x Slippy Scarlett
Purchased off an impressive 28.54 win at Tralee, Slippy Francis is yet to reproduce that form in the UK but remains lightly raced with just five starts. A black dog with plenty of potential to bounce back and plenty more to come.
