The latest instalment of the Greyhound Trader Online Auctions see’s nearly £20,000 of trade taking place.
Sold after the close of auction, the exciting January 2023 dog Da Butchersapron topped the sale selling for £7250 to the DC Syndicate for Perry Barr trainer Ian Walker. Hailing from the outstanding Townview kennels, his 28.87 trial at SPK clearly caught the eye and he looks set for an exciting future with could lead to the English Puppy Derby at Towcester.
Timmys Malachi was another to sell post-auction for £6500 to the kennels of Gemma Byford (who has recently took over from Norah McEllistrem). An early paced son of Malachi, his latest 28.52 victory in Limerick suggests that a career straight at Open level is on the horizon.
Selling in auction time were Necessary Evil (£1650), Ballinabola Eve (£1550) and Rathorpe Missy (£1000) whilst another deal was made post-auction for the exciting youngster Ballinabola Otto (£1750).
In total, 6 of the 24 greyhounds sold (25%) for a total value of £19,700.
