That however is exactly what Call It Off did on Friday evening as he sauntered to an ever extending 12 length success in a rapid time of 1887. It was some run but far from unexpected as this stunning blue son of Malachi out of open and competition class producing dam Droopys Megan has been rated in the highest of esteem for quite sometime. (21) ROMANTIC TESSIE (EX – CRAFTY TI AMO) – Super early paced bitch who got her career off to the best possible start with two early pace always led victories around Galway in May posting 2943 in the second of those. (22) BAYTOWN BARBIE – Lightly raced October 2022 bitch by Ballymac Anton who took a definite step forward when clocking 2954 in a Kilkenny trial. Looks sure to make into a useful addition to any graded kennel and will have no difficulty staying any four bend trip here in the UK.

(28) TIME BANDIT – Full brother to ‘Seabrooke’ detailed above and another exciting youngster with potentially a whole host of British bred opportunities on the horizon.
(29) ZEPHYR RAMPAGE – Not a mark on the card of this stunning July 2023 dog pup from the Pestana litter out of 2019 Irish Puppy Oaks Champion Cracked Lady. The sky is the limit for this youngster.

(31) GLIDEAWAY FALCON – Superbly bred October 2022 dog pup who ran a more than creditable third place on career debut at Drumbo Park recently. He was lost at the bend on what was his first look at the circuit. Having won all of his qualifying trials at Kilkenny including a 2964 effort in just his second ever try over four bends hopes are high for this half brother to 2023 Irish Derby Finalist Music Glideaway. Pace to burn and will be winning plenty of decent class races here in the UK.
(32) FOND FAVOURITE – Lightly raced July 2022 bitch by Broadstrand Bono out of Pennylane Sheba who was a strong running four and six bend open class performer on the track and being a daughter of Pennylane Lace counts many open and competition class greyhounds amongst her close relations. ‘Favourite’ has very much looked in need of experience in her handful of races to date but has show more than enough that she will be winning more than he fair share over here in the UK.
(33) ROULETTE – Not a single mark yet on the card of this April 2023 bitch pup by Serene Ace out of Droopys Melody who was a regular top grade winner here in England and being a daughter of the super brood Droopys Cyclone counts many open and competition class greyhounds amongst her relations including but certainly not limited to half brothers Droopys Verve and Droopys Biker. Blood lines don’t get much better than this and Roulette is without any doubt one for both the short term as a top quality racing prospect but in the longer term had brood potential from the top drawer.
(34) ROYAL FLUSH – Full brother to ‘Roulette’ detailed above and reports from his connections back home suggest that this lad has been showing plenty of early pace on the gallops and in his initial schooling trials. One to watch for sure.
(35) ROADTORICHES – Full brother to ‘Royal Flush’ detailed above and though slightly behind his brother at this stage in their home work connections believe he has every chance of making that ground up over the coming months. Green and very much in need of the experience of his latest couple of schooling trials the penny is dropping with each run and at this stage it’s difficult to know when the improvement will stop. Very interesting sort.
(36) JUMEERA WANTYA – Lightly raced August 2022 son of Magical Bale out of the 2018 English Oaks Finalist Jumeirah Charm who is now a well proven producer of open class offspring. ‘Wantya’ was a superb debut winner at Tralee earlier this year when destroying his opposition by fully 4 ½ lengths in 1773. Won’t be coming cheaply but class never does.

The penny looked to drop significantly with ‘Piper’ when winning for the first time on his last start clocking 2924 in a good A2 at Drumbo Park and with a 2886 effort when running a close second at Clonmel this lads engine is not in doubt. High grade type at least and no surprise to see him landing a small open or two either.
(40) IVY HILL STORM – Stunning April 2023 dog pup by Malachi out of Coolavanny Spice an open class performer on the track and being a daughter of Toms Delight is closely related to far too many competition class performers to mention. Word from back home is that this raw pup has limitless potential showcasing a huge amount of pace during his rearing and early schooling trials. Sales day trial will be extremely informative but no doubt about it he will attract much in the way of bidding from all those with a keen eye for a quality pup.
(41) DROOPYS FLARE – Not a mark on the card of this May 2023 product of the Droopys establishment. A daughter of the super brood Droopys Sydney out of Droopys Dancer who was a strong running race winner on the track who competed over both four and six bends. Being a daughter of Droopys Sylvia ‘Dancer’ is closely related to many high-class sorts and there is little doubt that her offspring will come into their own over stiff four bend trips and beyond.
(42) DROOPYS NOVELLA – Another fabulous prospect from the Droopys team who though well reared and schooled as you’d expect will arrive with new connections with so much more to come. Just an April 2023 whelp ‘Novella’ is a daughter of Malachi out of Droopys Charm who is now well proven in the breeding paddocks counting the likes of this years Puppy Derby Finalist Droopys Eunice amongst her offspring. ‘Novella’ is a high class prospect for the track but with blood lines like this there will without any doubt be an eye on future breeding prospects.
(43) AMAZING EMPEROR – Plenty to come from this December 2022 son of Signet Ace out of Free From Desire who looks all set to make into a high class graded performer at worst but being so green at this stage it’s difficult to say quite how good he can be once the penny fully drops.
(44) GOOD ROCKY – September 2022 dog pup with breeding to die for a son of Droopys Sydney out of Billys Diva the 2021 English Oaks Champion. Just two races on ‘Rocky’s’ card and got off to the best possible start with a sensational victory around Clonmel on debut posting 2922. Plenty yet to come from this lad and expected to put up one of the fastest runs of the day.
(45) THINKING TIME – Lightly raced November 2022 dog pup by Airmount Nando out of Saleen Amelia who was a top grade and open class performer on the track and certainly looks to be passing off some of that ability to her pups. With the benefit of a handful of runs behind him Thinking Time got off the mark in his last outing coming through late and strong to get up close home at Tralee in 2925. High grade sort with no doubt and with the penny yet to full drop no guessing where he could end up.
(46) BURNING CASH – Lighty raced wide running son of Burgess Bucks out of Amazing Alice who ran out a superb winner of the Irish Cesarewitch in Mullingar in 2021 having ran up in the Irish Leger Final at Limerick at the back end of 2020. A super strong running sort on the track and she looks to be passing off that kind of pace and her ability to her offspring with Burning Cash getting off the mark last time out with an early pace always led victory around Tralee in 2930. Heading in the right direction and a good sales day run fully expected.
(47) SLIPPY RODGER – February 2023 son of Crash out of El Nora who was an Irish Oaks Finalist back in 2019 and looks to be passing on pace to her offspring. ‘Rodger’ has just the two trials on his card currently. Looks one for the graded scene and should pay his way.
(48) SLIPPY BRYAN – Full unraced brother to ‘Rodger’ detailed above and similar comments applying.

(F) ZEPHY FLICK – Not a single mark on the card if this June 2023 bitch pup by Coolavanny Hoffa out of Forest Willow an open class winner on the track and being a daughter of Droopys Elite is so closely related to many high class sorts. This young bitch has been showing connections back home plenty and looks a nice type for any kennel here in the UK.
(G) COOLEMORE SAL – Unraced May 2023 bitch pup by Ballymac Cashout out of Bling Bling Sal who was a strong running race winner in novice open company over four bends and an open class winner once stepped up in trip to six bends. Comfortable winner of the only trial on her card at Tralee in 3062 and though she’ll have to improve upon that there is no doubt that she will and looks of particular interest once she matures naturally through age and experience where a stiffer test of stamina will undoubtedly suit.
