The first online auction of 2025 proved a tough time for vendors with only 4 greyhounds finding new owners.
Topping the sale was Ardera Billy who sold for £2100. An August 2022 son of Confident Rankin, Billy had racked up some good form around Enniscorthy and Waterford for owner/trainer Michael Meade but now heads to the kennels of Paul Donovan at Central Park where he could look a snip at the price if things go as expected.
Kiso Uma is another dog set to join the ranks at Central Park. A 28.95 winner at Dundalk, he again sold at a fair price for just £1500 to the kennels of Dan Brabon.
Heading to the newly renamed Star Pelaw is Ronnies Wishes who sold for £1150 and the unraced British bred bitch Dreamin Luna was purchased for £1250 by a UK owner and will continue her schooling with the renowned Claire Conley in Bicester.
Overall, 4 of the 15 sold (27%) for a total sum of £6000.
