Greyhound Trader are delighted to announce that the £10,000 Classic winner bonus will continue under the new sponsorship of Time Greyhound Nutrition.
Fans of greyhound racing will have noticed the new brand name for greyhound feed available on the Irish & UK market since the beginning of the year. Time (brought to you by GreyCo Ltd) was launched by two well-known names associated with the greyhound food market, Willie Rigney and John Fox.
The two men, who have prided themselves over the years on the supply of high-quality nutritional products for their customers, had dipped their toe in the sponsorship market earlier in the year with the announcement of their support for the Cork Cup at Curraheen Park, Select Stakes at Waterford and Juvenile Derby at Shelbourne Park. But now they have decided to continue into the UK by supporting Greyhound Trader, along with racing venues such as Oxford and Crayford.
Amongst their premium nutrition products are Time Puppy & Sapling, Time Record Breaker, Time Greyhound 28, Time Greyhound 20, Time Maintenance & Retired, Time Bread Nuggets and Time Garmivit XTRA.
The bonus for Greyhound Trader Track Sales purchased greyhounds can be claimed by victory in any of the English Derby, English Oaks or English St Leger.
Avid followers may also have noticed that the bonus was in fact close to being achieved last year, with Savana Beau failing short just one victory when reaching the prestigious English Derby final.
John Fox of Time Greyhound Nutrition said “Willie Rigney and myself are proud to be sponsoring this great industry, and in our own small way repay our customers for the support they have given both of us over the years. Even though our Time brand is different, the products are the same as people are used to, except for Greyhound 28 which is improved by the addition of panbonis for extra bone strength”.
Willie Rigney is well known at race tracks in Ireland and the UK and he further stated that “we intend sponsoring and promoting greyhounds and greyhound racing both in Ireland and the UK, helping the industry to grow and flourish with a renewed sense of pride”.
