LOT 15261 - Luna Dash (IRE)
Luna Dash
Current bid: £5,250.00
Luna Dash
An unbeaten daughter of Good News who is two from two so far, including an impressive 28.51 victory at Tralee!
Luna Dash is a March 2025-born bitch currently competing in an ON3 competition at Tralee, which concludes with the final on Saturday night.
She made a winning debut in the competition in 29.22 (+10), overcoming significant trouble to score by three lengths. Missing the break, she found herself in all sorts of bother at the first bend and was forced wide, but showed tremendous determination to close on the leaders before passing them at the third bend to secure a hard-fought victory.
It came as little surprise that she improved significantly on the clock next time out, recording an impressive 28.51 (+10) in the semi-finals. Trapping much better, she made all to demolish the field by an emphatic 12½ lengths.
Bred in the purple, her dam Three Canons was a finalist in both the Puppy Oaks and Juvenile Derby at Shelbourne Park, boasting a best time of 28.15. That quality appears to have passed down to Dash, who lines up in Saturday night’s final as the warm favourite.
An exciting young prospect with plenty more to come, she is eligible for the Northern Puppy Derby as a March whelp.
