LOT 15240 - Epic Evie (IRE)
Epic Evie
Current bid: £12,700.00
Epic Evie
An outstanding young prospect comes to market from the Kennedy family, an establishment renowned for producing quality greyhounds.
Epic Evie is an April 2025-born blue brindle daughter of Good News who qualified unraced at Thurles on Saturday night in a scintillating 28.82 (-40).
A time of this standard is rarely seen at the tough Tipperary venue, particularly from an unraced youngster. For comparison, the AA0 Champion Bitch Stake was won in 28.64 (SAND), while the AA0 Tipperary Cup final was won in 29.01 (-40). These are two of Thurles’ biggest competitions, underlining the level of ability Evie has already shown.
Recent sales from the Kennedy establishment include 2026 English Greyhound Derby winner Lennies Eddie, demonstrating their willingness to offer high-class performers to the market. Their previous online auction entry, Icemans Girl (ex Epic Bella), went on to enjoy a top-class career in the UK.
Her sister, Luna Dash, also made £10,700 at Hove, adding further appeal to her pedigree.
As an April 2025 whelp, Evie is eligible for both the Northern and Monmore Puppy Derbys, with the potential to target major competitions thereafter.
A standout prospect for those looking to compete at the highest level.
