The next online auction is upon us and yet again a full catalogue of greyhounds will be available to bid on over the weekend 29-31 May.
In fact, a late flurry of entries meant that the auction was over subscribed from the usual 20 with 25 entries, but we have left no one disappointed and accommodated for everyone this weekend.
Previous online auction purchases Shudacudawouda, Ballymac Odin and Venetian Mick are still flying the flag as we progress to the Semi-Final stages of the Greyhoundtrader.com Stakes and recent sale El Mayo (now Venetian Nero) impressed last week with a 16.30 first trial at Hove.
The full preview can be found below in alphabetical order:-
(1) BOL – Unraced February 2025 daughter of Good Cody who qualified in her most recent trial last week in 29.89 at Cork, winning the trial by 2 lengths. Looks a promising sort to run through the grades.
(2) BROCQUY – A similarly unraced litter sister to Bol above, Brocquy qualified at Clonmel in 30.37 at the beginning of May. A ready-made graded prospect who is just 15 months old.
(3) BRINGITTOME – May 2024 son of Grangeview Ten who won on his last outing at Clonmel in 28.94. A genuine wide-runner who would be suited to all 500m venues in the UK.
(4) CANYA EXCEED – October 2024 son of Born Warrior whose only race to date was when winning on debut at Cork in 29.19. He won this race by 10 lengths and looks an exciting prospect for the future. Can only improve further.
(5) CHUBBYS TEAM – May 2024 son of Newinn Taylor who is a race winner over the sprint trip at Thurles. He finished 2nd on his latest attempt over 525y at Limerick in a time of 29.22. Lightly raced type.
(6) DA REBEL CAT – January 2024 son of Signet Ace who has been running in opens in the UK since his purchase after winning in 28.53 at Cork. Clearly an engine in there but perhaps requires some patience and a run of graded runs to build back confidence.
(7) DAIRYLAND ROXY – Unraced March 2025 daughter of Droopys Flytline who qualified in her only trial to date in 30.00 at Waterford. Just 14 months old and will make a nice graded addition to most kennels.
(8) DEELISH ROCKY – Septemeber 2024 son of Ballyhimikin Jet who won on just his second start at Cork in 29.11 last weekend. From a kennel renowned with producing quality such as Deelish Frankie and Deelish Nora.
(9) FERET JET – Unraced Septemeber 2024 son of Ballymac Bolger who qualified in 29.47 at Enniscorthy on his latest trial outing. A decent effort as the notoriously tough venue.
(10) GRANTSTOWN TAS – April 2024 son of Dorotas Wildcat who is a previous 28.95 winner at Clonmel. He has since enhanced his claims with a couple of A0 level performances at the same venue with a best time of 28.61.
(11) IVY HILL ARCHIE – Unraced January 2025 son of Grangeview Ten and Coolavanny Chick who qualified on Tuesday at Cork in 29.13, winning his trial by 20 lengths. A strapping 80lb dog who will be suited to a fine galloping track.
(12) IVY HILL ARIEL – Unraced litter-sister to Archie above; Ariel similarly qualified at Cork on Tuesday, going better than her brother by recording an 8 length trial winning time of 28.97. The standout from a very promising litter.
(13) MALLOGS WALLEN – November 2024 son of King Sheeran whose only race to date was when winning on debut at Cork in 29.29 (beating Deelish Rocky). Still just 18 months old so improvement can be expected.
(14) MAREE SHAY – Unraced November 2024 son of Magical Bale who qualified at Limerick just 9 days ago in a good 29.05, placing him into ON1 company. From the same kennel which sold the hugely talented Maree Champion.
(15) MIAMI DUKE – UK-based October 2023 son of Dorotas Wildcat who is an A2 winner at Yarmouth. He hasn’t looked out of place in recent opens at Towcester, Nottingham and Doncaster.
(16) MISS CARA – September 2024 daughter of Ballymac Bolger who was a race winner last night at Enniscorthy in 29.30. Before this she made the final of a 4-round ON1 stake at the same venue.
(17) RATHRONAN ROMEO – September 2024 son of Ballymac Cashout who has won his last two outings at Tralee to take his record to 2 from 3. The first of these was in 28.79 (+20) and was then improved upon with a 7 lengths 28.68 (+30) victory in the final of an ON3 sweepstake.
(18) RONNIES DEBRUYNE – April 2024 son of Ballymac Bolger who got off the mark last time out with an impressive 9 length victory at Dundalk in a fast 21.12 which is SS0 level. Could be an ideal Romford Friday night dog.
(19) STEFANS BOLT – May 2024 son of Dromana Bucko who won last time out at Dundalk in 28.84. This follows on from a 21.50 victory over the 400y distance. He also recored 29.42 at Shelbourne Park but notably missed the break which significantly hampered the finishing time.
(20) STORMY SHELBY – April 2024 son of Australian stud dog Tommy Shelby whose only race to date was when winning on debut at Tralee in an incredible 28.42 (+30). He could not have put in a better first performance and won by a huge 12 1/2 lengths.
(21) TROMORA KATE – Unraced September 2024 daughter of Ballymac Best and Irish Derby finalist Crafty Kokoro. She qualified last Friday night at Limerick in 29.15 (+10). Highly regarded by connections.

(23) UNREPLACEABLE – Unraced October 2024 son of Pestana and Unlock Unlock who qualified at Shelbourne in an impressive 18.86 at the start of May. Another high-quality talent from the Townview kennels conveyer belt who won’t be given away too cheaply.
(24) VELVET FERNANDO – October 2024 son of Ballymac Bolger who completed a hat trick of wins at Lifford last week in 29.44. His previous victories were in 29.53 and 29.74. This lad knows how to win!
(25) WORK AHEAD – Unraced February 2025 son of Signet Ace who qualified on Thursday night at Limerick in 29.38. His dam is a proven offspring with talented performers Mad For Sterling, Mad For Cash, Work The Head and Confidentiality.
