LOT 15266 - Stonepark Browne (IRE)
Stonepark Browne
Current bid: £4,550.00
Stonepark Browne
A truly exceptional talent comes to market in Stonepark Browne. It is not every day that a track-record holder comes up for sale, let alone a National record-holder, following his sensational 18.12 performance at Limerick last summer. Believed to be the fastest 350-yard sprint recorded by a greyhound in Ireland, this is a rare opportunity for one lucky buyer to acquire an outstanding performer with plenty more to offer.
Browne is out of Coolavanny Ella, a renowned brood bitch who has produced high-class performers including Coolavanny Hoffa and Stonepark Hoffa. Stonepark Hoffa is himself a UK sprint track-record holder, while Coolavanny Hoffa needs little introduction following his outstanding racing career and subsequent impact at stud. With such a pedigree, Browne offers not only exceptional early pace and proven sprinting ability, but also potential future appeal as a stud prospect.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
- Treaty Cup winner — 2025
- Islandbridge runner-up — 2025
- Bar One National Sprint finalist — 2025
- Derby Final Night sprint winner — 2025
- Placed in the Islandbridge final — 2026
- Treaty Cup finalist — 2026
- Over €18,000 in prize money
OUTSTANDING TIMES
- 18.12 — Limerick track and National record
- 18.39 — Shelbourne Park, just three weeks ago
- 18.33 — Shelbourne Park
- 20.94 — Dundalk
- 17.30 — Cork
- 15.97 — Clonmel
- 28.49 — Limerick, 525 yards
These are just a selection of Browne’s outstanding performances.
This is a rare opportunity to acquire an exceptional greyhound with plenty still to offer. With major competitions ahead and the potential for further success, Browne combines outstanding early pace, proven class and a record that sets him apart from the majority.
The recently upgraded Category One Arc National Sprint at Nottingham, carrying a £10,000 first prize and starting on December 7, looks an ideal initial target. Given his proven sprinting ability and track-record credentials, Browne could be firmly in the mix for favouritism.
A genuine standout for anyone looking to acquire a top-class sprinter, with the added attraction of an outstanding pedigree.
