Successful Sales Day at Hove

As storm Arwen tried its best to threaten the day of the sales, 34 greyhounds successfully made it to the south of England on a very cold afternoon for our ‘Winter’ sale on November 28th.

With trials commencing at 10.30am, the first impressive trialist was Dixies Princess (Out Of Range ASB x Goes Wilder) who clocked 30.71 and subsequently was sold for £2000

Catching the eye next were the impeccably bred Pat Guilfoyle pair of Mystical Tig and Mystical Harry. Just March 20 pups who are brothers to the super quick Magical Mary, there was plenty of interest in the bidding ring and eventually the pair were sold for £3800 and £3350.

Other notable trialists were Moyola Sox Ban, who clocked 30.72 and was sold for £3600, and Ballintemple Man who did a 30.63 and was then sold for £2600.

Top lot and fastest of the day however was the late entrant Bockos Newman, who was sold for £5500 after winning his trial by 8 1/2 lengths and posting a time of 30.34 for the 500m trip.

With the going only given a very questionable -40 for the day, we fully expect each greyhound to improve on from their sales runs wherever they end up.
